About Theresa Burkes and her work
Theresa (Terry) Burkes is a cross-disciplinary artist with a studio in Boise, Idaho. She works in oils and watercolors with an emphasis in portraiture. Commissioned work in the last two years includes three portraits in oil. Her creative work includes poetry and songwriting. In all disciplines, her favorite subjects are memoir and people interacting with landscape or cityscape. She is also an avid gardener and keeps a garden outside her studio door.
